Description

This is a group of screenshots from Freedom Planet, a high-speed platformer that borrows a lot of concepts from Sonic the Hedgehog. While it shares many of the same themes as Sonic games, it takes place in an original verse with new characters. It also contains a unique charging system in which the player uses their momentum to build up energy, which they can use to dash through the air at high speeds.

I have this solid idea that this game wasn't released in 2014, but DISCOVERED in 2014; unearthed from historical archives and had its actual release date speculated to be around the same time as Digimon.
