Lilac the Dragon Girl

After careful consideration, I decided that Lilac's first design had too much in common with Sonic the Hedgehog, to the point where people who played the demo were confused about whether or not it was a Sonic game. So I made it a personal goal to come up with a new design was more original, attractive, and easier to draw. After I came up with it, FeliciaVal drew this.

I'm really happy with Lilac's new look here. We ditched the hedgehog spikes and add more dragon-like features, and while her sprite in the game still has the same proportions as a Sonic character, I made it a point to emphasize how she's different from him. Combined with this wonderful style of Felicia's, I really believe we have a look that no more similar to Sonic than Sonic is to Felix the Cat.
